Our online poker HUD is a brand new and innovative product, that is packed with new features and technologies. In the following sections, we will give you an introduction to the HUD functionalities.

1. Poker HUD Technlogy

If you play online poker and start our HUD, it will immediately start to import hand history files while you are playing and provide you with stats and key figures of your opponents. The hand import will start after you played your first hand, because after this, a new hand history file is created by the poker software. It is possible to provide first information about your opponents after the first played hand. Nevertheless, we wanted to offer you information of your opponent directly from the first hand, so we introduced the use of OCR technology for this. OCR (=Optical Character Recognition) means that we analyze the pixels of the player names at the poker table and detect the players name as text. With OCR we are able to provide you instant information of your opponents from the first hand on. If you ever played against one of the detected player his stats will be shown instantly. After the first hand we will swap back and use hand histories for information gathering and displaying.
OCR technlogy is a huge gain for fast poker games like Zoom etc. with this we are able to provide you with all stats you need even in fast games. However this technology fails in a few cases, so we achieve a hit rate of 90% for player names at zoom tables.
Another technology we use is the so called Levensthein distance, this allows us to always seat you at the right position, so you do not have to state your seating position in our tool and don’t have to rotate your HUD either.
All of this makes our HUD to an absolutely stunning and innovative product, which makes your life at the poker table easier.

2. Online Poker HUD informations

The HUD will provide stats and other information for every player at the table. The more hands you played against a player, the more precise the information will be.

2.1 Poker HUD Stats

You see three key figures for every player in the collapsed view. If you hover over a player you can click the “+” symbol to reveal additional stats.

In the following section, you will find explanations for the key figures, what they mean, how they are calculated, and what the standard values are.

2.1.1 Poker Hud Stats – VP$IP

VP$IP: Voluntarily Put Money in Pot

This key figure shows how often a player participates in the first bet round. If a player raises or calls voluntarily, the VPIP value will rise. If a player has to bet the Big Blind and checks, the VPIP value will not be changed because the participation was not voluntarily in this case. The key figure is a percentual value determined by the following formula:

( Total times raised or called preflop / total hands played – number of hands folded to the Big Blind ) * 100

2.1.2 Poker Hud Stats – PFR

PFR: Preflop Raise

This key figure shows how often a player raises in the first bet round. (preflop). If the PFR of a player is 10%, for example, he raises 1 out of 10 hands preflop. The key figure is a percentual value determined by the following formula:

( Total times raised preflop / Total hands played – number of hands folded to the Big Blind ) * 100

2.1.3 Poker Hud Stats – 3BET

3BET: Three-Bet

This key figure shows how often a player re-raises after a bet and a raise before him. The key figure is a percentual value determined by the following formula:

( Total times player 3bets / Total times player had the opportunity to 3Bet ) * 100

2.1.4 Poker Hud Stats – DEFAS

DEFAS: Defend against steal

This key figure shows how often a player defends his blinds against a raise from late position in front of him. The key figure is a percentual value determined by the following formula:

( Total times player reraises to a steal attempt / Total times player had the opportunity to defend against steal) * 100

2.1.5 Poker Hud Stats – PR/VP

PR/VP: Preflop Raise/Voluntarily Put Money in Pot

This ratio shows how often a player raises if he puts voluntarily money in the pot. If this value is 50%, for example, a player will raise 5 out of 10 hands he participates in. The key figure is a percentual value determined by the following formula:

( Pre Flop Raise / Voluntarily Put Money in Pot ) * 100

2.1.6 Poker Hud Stats – FCBET

FCBET: Flop continuation bet

This key figure shows the percentage of time that a player bets the flop in the case he made the last raise preflop. The key figure is a percentual value determined by the following formula:

( Total times Continuation Bet Flop / Total opportunities to Continuation Bet Flop ) * 100

F-AF: Flop agression factor

This key figure shows how often a player makes an aggressive action on the flop. The key figure is a ratio determined by the following formula:

( Times Bet Flop + Times Raised Flop ) / Times Called Flop

2.1.8 Poker Hud Stats – FTFCB

FTFCB: Fold to Flop continuation bet

This key figure shows how often a player folds to a flop bet of a player which was the last raiser preflop. The key figure is a percentual value determined by the following formula:

( Total Times Fold to Flop CBet / Total opportunities to Fold to Flop CBet ) * 100

2.1.9 Poker Hud Stats – FTFB

FTFB: Fold to Flop bet

This key figure shows how often a player folds to any flop bet. The key figure is a percentual value determined by the following formula:

( Total Times Fold when Facing a Flop Bet / Total Opportunities to Fold when Facing a Flop Bet ) * 100

2.1.10 Poker Hud Stats – WWSF

WWSF: Won when saw flop

This key figure shows the percentage of how often a player won money if he saw the flop. The key figure is a percentual value determined by the following formula:

( Total Times Player Won Money / Total Times Player Saw the Flop ) * 100

2.1.11 Poker Hud Stats – TCBET

TCBET: Turn continuation bet

This key figure shows how often a player bets first on the flop after raising or betting preflop. The player continues with his agression he showed preflop. This can be a sign that he really hit something with the flop or that he just wants to win the pot immediately with a weak hand. The key figure is a percentual value determined by the following formula:

( Total Times Continuation Bet Turn / Total Opportunities to Continuation Bet Turn ) * 100

2.1.12 Poker Hud Stats – T-AF

T-AF: Turn agression factor

This key figure shows how agressive a player is at the turn. The number of bets and raises are divided through the number of calls a player made. As more often a player bets or raises by himself instead of just calling as more aggressive a player can be assessed. The key figure is a ratio determined by the following formula:

( Times Bet Turn + Times Raised Turn ) / Times Called Turn

2.1.13 Poker Hud Stats – T-AFQ

T-AFQ: Turn Agression frequency

This key figure shows the percentage of non-checking aggressive actions at the turn. For example, if this keyfigure is 50%, this means a player made a bet or raise 50% of the time he either bet, raised, called or folded. The key figure is a percentual value determined by the following formula:

FTTB: Fold to Turn bet

This key figure shows the percentage of the time a player folds to any open bet on the turn. The key figure is a percentual value determined by the following formula:

This key figure shows how often a player plays a hand to the showdown. The key figure is a percentual value determined by the following formula:

R-AF: River agression factor

This key figure shows how agressive a player is at the river. The key figure is a ratio determined by the following formula:

2.1.17 Poker Hud Stats – R-AFQ

R-AFQ: River aggression frequency

This key figure shows the percentage a player performs a non-checking action on the river. The key figure is a percentual value determined by the following formula:

2.1.18 Poker Hud Stats – FTRB

FTRB: Fold to river bet

This key figure shows the percentage a player folds to a river bet. The key figure is a percentual value determined by the following formula:

( Total Times Fold when Facing a River Bet / Total Opportunities to Fold when Facing a River Bet ) * 100

2.1.19 Poker Hud Stats – WSD

WSD: Won money at showdown

This key figure shows the percentage of the time that a player won money at the showdown. The key figure is a percentual value determined by the following formula:

( Total Times Won Money at Showdown / Total Times Went to Showdown ) * 100

2.2 Poker HUD Heat map

The heat map displays the favorite hands your opponent plays out of different positions. The redder the hand is, the more often the player played this hand. This can give you valuable information about the playing style of your opponent.

2.3 Poker HUD Info

The Info tab provides you with useful additional information it is separated into Preflop, Flop, Turn and River. You can see how often your opponent did specific moves at the single streets.

2.4 Poker HUD Player Tab

The player tab provides you with short information about your opponents. It shows the three key figures, which are already shown in the collapsed hud. Additionally you can see how much hands you played against this player and you see the players number of Big Blinds + the Harrington’s “M” key figure.
